Among the many TV series coming to September there are 3 expected returns: The Gentlemen 2 on Netflix from 3 (in binge), Slow Horses 6 from 16 on Apple TV, MobLand 2 from 18 on Paramount+. Always English is Nightsleeper from 4 on Sky and NOW a typical British thriller set on a train between Glasgow and London that is hacked, a bit seems a Hijack spinoff, but for lovers of the genre it is not to be missed.
Those who love the procedure should not miss the CIA from 4 on Italy 1, a new creature of Dick Wolf, a sort of FBI offshoot set in New York and with a task force between CIA and FBI that deals with internal terrorism, with Tom Ellis doing the CIA agent scapestrato. CBS and already renewed.
Among the titles to keep an eye on in September 2026 there are American Hostage miniseries with Jon Hamm and Giovanni Ribisi inspired by a podcast and with the center the true story happened in the 70s of a radio journalist who interviews a kidnapper, from 20 on MGM+ with weekly release; Youth, comedy of and with Sharon Horgan, from 21 on HBO Max, on a 50-year-old woman ready for a new phase of her life; Brothers from 23 on Apple TV, with Matthew Mcconaughey and Woody Harrelson interpreting versions of themselves, which could be brothers.
Reacher’s spinoff, Neagley on Prime Video is definitely not to be missed for those who are passionate about action. The second season of Adults (from 30 on Disney+) and Monster: Lizzie Borden’s story (on the 17th on Netflix, the fourth chapter of the anthology produced by Ryan Murphy) is definitely worth mentioning for those who follow the genre. Minerva – The school set in a military high school in Naples is the teen drama of Netflix but here makes more “fear” than well hoped. American Horror Story 13, 13 episodes from 30 minutes weekly release with the return of many characters of the past, while in the USA and in many countries the release is scheduled on 24, in Italy Disney+ preferred to postpone everything.
