Thursday 3 September 2026 on channel 20 of the digital terrestrial will air the film “Blackhat“. The film is directed by Michael Mann, with Chris Hemsworth and Tang Wei as the protagonists. The film was released at the cinema in 2015 cashing around $19.6 million worldwide, of which $8 million were cashed in the US market. In Italy the film has cashed only 346 thousand euros.
Blackhat, la trama
After a cyber attack on a Chinese nuclear plant and the American raw materials market, governments decide to hunt blackhat together. Colonel Chen Dawai is assigned to the case by the Chinese government and meets Americans Carol Barrett and Mark Jessup in Los Angeles. He arrives there with Sister Chen Lien and discovers that the hacker has used a computer code developed by his old friend of MIT, Nick Hathaway who is in prison for digital robberies at the detriment of banks.
He asks Nick to join the team, and together they will have to go to China to follow a lead. On their journey, Nick and Lien will love each other. However, they can’t find out the motivation of the attack and Nick has to make a risky move to find the hacker’s position. Can you find out who’s responsible for the attacks?
