In the United States the box office of summer 2026 has reached the record figure of 4 billion and 756 million, at least according to the estimates of Rentrak that included also the data of today 7 September, labor day, exceeding the record of 2013. Odyssey and Spider-Man: Brand New Day takes a large part of the credit. In Italy the data remain excellent, as Cineguru reports September 2025 at the box office already exceeded both 2025 and 2024 and very well is going all year round with +46% regarding 2025 and +45% regarding 2024.

Thanks to Coyote vs Acme, the film that should not have been released, cashed 1.2 million euros on weekends and 1.4 million in 5 days. Result great for a weekend overall in decrease to the box office regarding last year with 5.024.981 € cashed -22% regarding last year. The only new top ten release is Il Malloppo la comedy con Abatantuono-Angioni ha got 96,467 euro. When it is a platform comedy the public avoids spending 10 euros of ticket.
Always excellent Odyssey with 939 thousand euros in front of Oceania with 851 thousand euros and Spider-Man at 509 thousand euros. The Dog Stars does not go bad with a total arrived at 1.1 million euros.
