For Assane Diop the problem is no longer just to escape the police, because when a mysterious thief begins to use the name and methods of Lupin, the protagonist finds himself in front of someone who seems to want to occupy his own space. The trailer of the fourth part/season of Lupin shows this important novelty: in the upcoming episodes on Netflix on October 23, 2026 there will be a new thief to annoy our Assane (Omar Sy).
The fourth part starts from the situation left unfinished at the end of the previous season, but takes a four-year time leap. Assane is still determined to conquer his punishment and maintain the promise made to his son, until a Lupin does not announce a series of simultaneous robberies to more museums and Assane can not remain to watch.
The trailer anticipates the main novelty of Lupin, there is someone who wants to take his place. The police are so in front of a paradoxical situation, a new criminal is striking in the name of Lupin, while the real Assane should still be in prison. But who is this new thief?

The third part had ended with a radical decision, after completing a new blow and having made everyone believe that they were dead, Assane had understood that the best way to protect Claire, his son Raoul, his mother and friend Benjamin was to give up his freedom. He then chose to surrender to the police. The last image showed him behind bars, with the books of Arsène Lupin to join him. Assane would like to take his penalty and build a different future, but the announcement of the new robberies changes everything.
The trailer lets you understand that the stay in prison will not last all season. Omar Sy returns to wear the shoes of the gentleman thief in a series of sequences that bring back to the center of the story disguises, escapes, chases and elaborate shots.

Omar Sy naturally resumes the role of Assane Diop. Alongside him, Ludivine Sagnier returns as Claire, Antoine Gouy as Benjamin Ferel and Soufiane Guerrab as Inspector Youssef Guédira. In the cast of the fourth part there are also Shirine Boutella, Théo Christine and Laïka Blanc-Francard.
The series is created by George Kay, in collaboration with François Uzan, and continues to use as a reference point the character of Arsène Lupin created by Maurice Leblanc. The production is by Gaumont in collaboration with Carrousel Studios.

Part 4 of Lupin will consist of eight episodes, all available simultaneously on Netflix from 23 October 2026. The new season then arrives almost three years from the previous one.
