Eagle Pictures presents the new Icon Collection necklace and the new Steelcase editions of its cult movies in home video. Think for collectors and lovers of great cinema.
Each Icon Collection release, dedicated to immortal masterpieces of the history of cinema, will be enclosed in an elegant rigid slipcase with magnetic box closure, containing a Steelbook branded Eagle Pictures with a Metal Card numbered by collection and the 4K UHD version film.
Each title Steelcase from a cult of the past will contain the double disc 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray HD and a poster of the film in question in an exclusive metal box.

Among the first releases of the new Eagle Pictures home video series there will be Robin Hood – The Prince of Thieves of Kevin Reynolds, available from 28 October in an unmissable edition composed of 2 discs with the 4K Ultra HD film, (which includes both the film version with original dubbing and the integral version) and Blu-ray, the branded Steelbook, a numbered Metal Card and rigid slipcase with magnetic closure. With Kevin Costner as the legendary Sherwood outlaw, this great classic from the 1990s reinterprets the myth of Robin Hood through a story of adventure and romance.
Also from 28 October will be available Apocaypse Now by Francis Ford Coppola, proposed in a very rich edition containing 4 discs 4K. The box contains the three versions of the masterpiece of Coppola – cinema, Redux and Final Cut – together with the famous documentary “Hearts of Darkness”, available for the first time in 4K, as well as the Steelbook, the numbered Metal Card and the rigid slipcase with magnetic clasp. With Martin Sheen and Marlon Brando, a journey hallucinated in the horror of war and in the abyss of human nature, entered the history of cinema.
From November 4th will be the turn of Terminator 2 – James Cameron’s Judgment Day, available in the Icon Collection in a 4 disc edition, containing the 4K Ultra HD film, the Blu-ray film version, the Director’s Cut in Blu-ray and the 3D Blu-ray film. To complete the case, the Steelbook, the numbered Metal Card and the exclusive magnetic rigid slipcase. Arnold Schwarzenegger returns as the cyborg Terminator, in a story in which action, science fiction and revolutionary special effects meet in one of the most famous and influential sequels ever.
From November 11th the Rambo box, which brings together in a single edition the entire saga of the 5 films with Sylvester Stallone. The box contains 5 4K discs, one for each chapter: Rambo, Rambo 2 – Revenge, Rambo III, John Rambo and Rambo: Last Blood, with the chapter “John Rambo” available for the first time in 4K. Five films and almost forty years of film history gathered in a collection edition celebrating one of the characters symbol of the action movie.
From November 18 to 1997: Escape from New York by John Carpenter, available in a 2-disc edition, with the 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray film, Steelbook, Metal Card numbered and rigid slipcases with magnetic closure. In a Manhattan turned into a huge prison of maximum security, former soldier Jena Plissken has a few hours to save the President of the United States. An absolute cult that merges science fiction, action and post-apocalyptic atmospheres, consecrating Kurt Russell as an iconic antihero.
Closes the calendar of the necklace, from November 25th, Michael Cimino’s Hunter, proposed in a 2 disc case, with the 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray film, Steelbook, Metal Card numbered and magnetic rigid slipcase. With a star cast led by Robert De Niro, Christopher Walken and Meryl Streep, the film tells the lives of a group of friends shocked by the Vietnam War. A monumental work by Michael Cimino on friendship, trauma and loss of innocence, awarded with five Oscars.

Paul Verhoeven will open the new editions with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Cabal of Clive Barker with David Cronenberg on 21 October, followed by Drive of Nicholas Winding Refn with Ryan Gosling on 4 November and Ran of Akira Kurosawa on 11 November.
