The TV series to see this week: Brothers, Youth, Minerva and American Hostage

Assuming that the best things to see of the week from 20 to 26 September are the final of Lioness 3 (Sunday) and the second episode of MobLand 2 (Friday) both on Paramount+, there are also new interesting TV series this week. And fortunately in this case they are all weekly release.

Sunday, September 20 on MGM+ debuts American Hostage first season of an anthology, thriller on a real case of a seizure in person, with Jon Hamm and Giovanni Ribisi protagonists. On Monday 21 September, instead on HBO Max debuts Youth new comedy of and with Sharon Horgan in the center a woman trying to make a new life now that the son left home but things will go differently. The waiting Brothers arrives with the strange story of Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson brothers, on Apple TV since Wednesday.

Returning to the world of binge watching, on Netflix come Mis Muertos Tristes – My Sad Dead by Pablo Larrain, a psychological thriller that was also appreciated by Stephen King. While the inevitable teen drama this time comes from Italy, on Netflix lands Minerva-The school set in a military institute (and since the period we are living between far-right forces that are increasingly taking power can’t a little restless). For those who love costume dramas on Sky from Saturday there is The Other Bennet Sister.
