Disney+ announced the cast of Delitto on Lake Garda (still provisional title) new Italian TV series Hulu based on the novel by Tom Hindle Murder on Lake Garda. An exclusive wedding, a private island on Lake Garda and a murder destined to transform a celebration into a hunt for the culprit are the ingredients of the TV series currently in production.
The series consists of six episodes, is directed by Laura Bispuri and is born from a screenplay signed by Alessandro Fabbri, Head Writer, along with Ilaria Macchia, Gianluca Bernardini and Laura Colella. The book was published in the United Kingdom by Century, publishing series of Penguin Random House, arrived in Italy in June 2026 for Bompiani. The series is produced by The Apartment, company of the Fremantle group.

In the cast of Delitto on Lake Garda there are Carlotta Antonelli, Francesco Gheghi, Saul Nanni, Matilde Gioli, Tommaso Ragno, Paolo Pierobon, Yile Vianello, Margherita Buoncristiani, Paola Buratto and Vincenzo Crea, with the participation of Margherita Buy. Antonelli plays Lara, aspiring journalist and girlfriend of the groom’s brother, while Nanni dresses up as Leopoldo Vigevani, heir of the family at the center of the story. Buoncristiani instead interprets Eva Bianchi, the influencer that is about to marry Leopoldo.
La trama di Delitto sul Lago di Garda
In the center of the story there is the marriage between Leopoldo Vigevani and Eva Bianchi, organized on a private island of Lake Garda. The event brings together the elite of the country in a seemingly perfect setting, in which wealth, prestige and personal relationships live with secrets and rivalry.
Among the guests is Lara, girlfriend of the groom’s brother and aspiring journalist. For her that world made of privileges and appearances is something foreign. The situation changes when a lifeless body is found on the beach.
The island suddenly becomes a trap. The police are late to arrive and no one can leave the place of marriage: the guests become potential suspects. Lara begins to dig in the history of the Vigevani family and gradually discovers that behind the public image of its members there are hidden motives and secrets that could be linked to the murder.
