Aftermath – In trappola, la trama del film
Eric Daniels is a war veteran who lives with a severe post-traumatic stress disorder. While traveling to Boston, his city, accompanies his 16-year-old sister Madeleine, but their path is interrupted when a group of armed men takes control of the Tobin Memorial Bridge. Among the people stuck on the bridge are also the two brothers, who find themselves trapped in an increasingly dangerous situation.
To lead the attackers is Jimmy, nicknamed Romeo, a former military officer who organized the operation together with a group of armed men. Their goal is to free Samantha Brown, known as Doc, a transfer prisoner who has a past tied to the gang. The presence of the hostages turns the bridge into a war zone, while the authorities try to contain the crisis.
Eric must set aside the difficulties related to war trauma and exploit his ability to protect Madeleine and other civilians. In the course of the story, the veteran comes into contact with Doc and discovers new elements on the attackers’ plane. Between explosions, clashes and escape attempts, the struggle to survive also becomes a confrontation with the psychological consequences of war.
