Piedone – A cop in Naples 2 will arrive on 23 November 2026 exclusively on Sky Cinema and stream on NOW. The second season of Sky Original police with Salvatore Esposito, Silvia D’Amico and Fabio Balsamo is therefore confirmed as a collection of 3 90-minute films on the model of Petra or the BarLume, despite even in the first season had shown a more serial construction than from TV films that will continue in the second as evidenced by the plot. A strange enough choice for this Sky series directed by Alessio Maria Federici, sort of sequel of Piedone’s films with Bud Spencer with the protagonist who was a pupil of Commissioner Rizzo.
La trama di Piedone – Uno sbirro a Napoli 2
Inspector Vincenzo Palmieri is still on the trail of Edoardo Iodice, a Neapolitan boss who continues to escape justice. The investigations become more complex and force the protagonist to confront the shadows of a past that never stopped asking for answers.
At his side there is the Commissioner Sonia Ascarelli, with whom the professional and personal relationship crosses a delicate phase, between tensions and doubts. The team can also count on inspectors Michele Noviello and Valentina Capezio, trusted colleagues who support the protagonists in case resolution.
To complicate the investigations intervenes the deputyquestor Enrico Ruotolo, an enigmatic and little transparent figure with which Palmieri and Ascarelli are forced to collaborate, while nourishing suspicion on his loyalty. Between tracks and internal tensions, the team will have to move in a lively contemporary Naples full of contrasts.
