Drive – Hearts on track arrives on Prime Video on 28 October 2026. Directed by Sergej Moya and portrayed by Lisa-Marie Koroll and Amin Baahmed, the German film combines romance and racing through the history of a young mechanic who dreams of becoming a driver and a champion with a compromised reputation. To achieve what they want, the two agree to pretend to be a couple, creating an agreement intended to complicate.
The story is from the novel Drive by Tamara Lush, published in Italy by Newton Compton Editori under the title Drive. Hearts on the track. The film adaptation presents some differences from the original text, starting from the name of the protagonist: in the novel is called Savannah Jenkins, nicknamed Savvy, while in the film is Sarah Jenkins. The relationship between a woman who wants to conquer her place in the racing world remains central and a pilot who has to deal with the consequences of notoriety.

Sarah Jenkins is a young mechanic working in the automotive racing world. He knows the engines and has the skills necessary to move in the environment of competitions, but his goal is to get behind the wheel and become a pilot. To succeed, she needs an opportunity to show her talent.
Dante Annunziata is a star of sports car racing. His career has already begun, but a series of scandals is likely to further damage his reputation and compromise his professional future. To remove the attention from the controversy, the pilot needs to present himself under a different light.
The streets of the two protagonists cross when the possibility of building a sentimental relation of facade emerges. Sarah can take advantage of Dante’s closeness to trying to get closer to her dream, while he hopes to regain credibility through a more reassuring public image.
The deal seems convenient for both, but pretending to be in love is more complicated than expected. Spending time together brings Sarah and Dante to know each other beyond the first impressions, while the character differences and rivalries related to the world of racing fuel their relationship. What is born as a messincene risks turning into something authentic, with consequences for the ambitions of both.

Amin Baahmed dresses Dante Annunziata’s shoes, the automotive champion who tries to protect his career after a series of scandals. The relationship with Sarah forces him to confront a person who does not let himself be defined only by his fame.
