La Papessa, la trama
We are in 814 after Christ and Johanna seems to be forced to live a life that has always hated, despite being the common destiny of women of that age: working, marrying, making children and dying. Johanna is a very religious woman and driven by faith and thought that destiny to something else in store for her is opposed to these canons of society. God is showing her the way to follow then decides to oppose the father and the rules of the Church, even at the cost of renouncing everything.
