American football, family rivalries and the fight for control of an NFL team are at the heart of The Land, the new drama series created by Dan Fogelman, already author of This Is Us and Paradise. The series will debut on Monday, February 15, 2027 exclusively on Disney+ in Italy, with the first two episodes available at launch and a new episode every Monday. In the United States it will be distributed on Hulu, with the same weekly schedule. The story follows two families linked to the Cleveland Browns, with sporting ambitions, personal conflicts and decisions aimed at affecting the team’s future.
Very interesting the cast with Fogelman returning to work with Mandy Moore and flanks her many TV veterans like Christopher Meloni, Bridget Moynahan, William H. Macy and Omar Epps
La trama
The story takes place around the Cleveland Browns and their coach, Danny Roarke, who after several disappointing seasons has a last chance to change the fate of the team. His future also depends on a young Ohio State quarterback just chosen for the Draft: the boy is his son, a bond that makes even more complex a challenge already loaded with expectations. At the same time, the owner of the franchise, Hal Durkin, must establish which of his two daughters is more suitable for collecting the inheritance and guiding the future. While the typhoonistry demands a winning season, the two families face choices that involve both the playing field and the management leadership of the team.
