La serie con Eddie Murphy non sarà più di Matthew Weiner
Matthew Weiner, famous for creating that jewel of Mad Men, will no longer be showrunner and author of The Chariman, the mysterious serial project of Peacock with Eddie Murphy. The series is produced by 101 Studios and Universal, since last January the studio has a first look deal with NBCUniversal. According to the reconstruction made by deadline (after the news released first by Variety), Universal TV, 101 Studios and Peacock would have read the screenplay made by Weiner of the pilot. It seems that Weiner had been contacted to develop an idea that had already been presented to Murphy but that the screenplay presented was very different from the idea. The writers room would not have been dismantled but the screenwriters were given two weeks off waiting to find a new showrunner. At the moment we do not know anything about the idea at the base.
