Saturday 31 October on Rete 4 will air the film “Le Ali della Libertà”, a production of 1994, written and directed by Frank Darabont (The Walking Dead). Le Ali della Libertà, la trama
The film is set in the American state of Main, in 1947, when Andy Dufrense, an employee of a Portland bank, is sentenced to two life sentences for killing his wife and lover. Andy says he’s innocent, but he’s still gonna have to pay the penalty in Shawshank prison. When he arrived in prison, Andy began to notice firsthand that the guards were all corrupted, along with Director Norton. He tries to keep his distance from the other prisoners, but serves little, given the nature of his crimes is always the preferred target for a beating.
One day he will convince a look in economic difficulty to help him, thanks to his knowledge of the world of finance. Since then his life in prison changes, the other guards and the director want his advice, so much so that in prison he will take care of the accounts and not of forced labor. Andy in prison will meet Red, an expert in smuggling in prison, who will ask for a hammer to cut the rock, will serve him to prepare his escape to freedom, an escape for which he will have to be patient.
