After the closing of SWAT by CBS, Sony and Shermar Moore immediately equipped themselves to continue the TV series giving rise to SWAT: Exilies, produced by Sony and then presented on the market. In the USA it was taken by STARZ (who has already renewed it) while in Italy it is divided between Rai 2 and Sky that will propose it soon. On Rai 2 SWAT Exilies with its 10 episodes will debut on October 31.
Sergeant Daniel Hondo Harrelson has to get back into play after a mission ended badly and accept an assignment that takes him away from the team he was used to: training a group of young recruits considered the last chance to save an experimental unit.
SWAT Exiles La trama
After a mission with dramatic consequences, Daniel Hondo Harrelson is called into service to lead a new S.W.A.T. Los Angeles. The sergeant must build a team starting from young recruits, inexperienced and with very different personalities, transforming a group of outsiders into a department capable of facing the most dangerous situations.
The task is not only about training, but learning to work with a generation that uses tools and methods different from its own, managing internal tensions and regaining the confidence needed to drive an operational unit. The past continues to weigh on its choices and the new team will have to prove that it can work even when the missions risk the lives of its members.
