Coming to Paramount+ Friday, November 6th the British comedy Can only go worse – It Get Worse with Leo Reich. Ethan, Abi and Sam had imagined a different London life. After the university, however, they find themselves with little rewarding jobs, sentimental relationships that do not take off and the feeling of being behind compared to expectations. When the owner communicates that he will sell the apartment where they live together, even their precarious home balance is questioned.
The original SHOWTIME series is produced by A24 and ironically tells the uncertainties of a generation to the grips with the entry into adulthood. Six episodes transform the daily difficulties, the resized ambitions and personal disappointments into a comedy with a sweet tone, where the hope of a turn often collides with a little encouraging reality.
Può solo andar peggio, la trama
Ethan, Abi and Sam are three 20-year-old friends who have known each other since the university and have chosen to share an apartment in London. Their everyday life, however, is far from the image they had of the future, they have precarious jobs and limited professional perspectives and sentimental life does not offer great satisfaction. The news that the owner of the apartment wants to sell the house forces the three to look for a new accommodation, highlighting how fragile their independence is. Meanwhile, each has to face their own frustrations and the gap between youth expectations and what adult life is actually offering.
