In fact, the Institute is a MGM+ production where the second season starts from 8 November (with weekly release of episodes).
The Institute – L’istituto, la trama
This is the plot of The Institute: Luke Ellis, a fourteen-year-old genius, is kidnapped in the middle of the night and brought to the Institute, a prison-like structure located in the Maine countryside (and where not in Maine knowing King), which houses children with psychic powers. To direct the place is Mrs. Sigsby, a wise and determined woman, fanatically convinced of her mission and willing to do everything to complete it. In parallel in the city adjacent to the structure comes a new policeman, transferred from the great city, seeking peace and tranquility. But during his night shifts, strange phenomena lead him to investigate this structure.

Perchè funziona
The institute works and was one of the most interesting TV series of last year, thanks to its protagonists and in particular to the young Joe Freeman who manages to return that contrast between the unfaced safety and immature fragility of his Luke with capacity outside the commune. The involvement of King as an executive producer is a guarantee of seriousness by production that does not induce in the easy horror or in the useless minds and teenage tenderness, but rides both situations to tell the fear of the unknown, of the unpredictable.
