Free Guy – Eroe per gioco is the movie on Wednesday, November 4 on Rai 4 and streaming on RaiPlay. Ryan Reynolds returns to play a superhero, this time very different from classics to an action comedy produced by Ryan Reynolds and directed by Shawn Ryan, written by Matt Lieberman and Zak Penn.

The plot of Free Guy Eroe for Game tells the story of Guy, bank cashier who one day tries to rebel against a system that wants him submissive and instead of staying still during the usual robbery, rebels. So he finds out he’s an unplayable character in a video game, Free City. In the game he is the good one in a violent world. At that point he decides to embark on a crusade against those who created the game who want to close the game thus stopping the very existence of Guy.

The cast is obviously led by Ryan Reynolds as the protagonist of the videogame character who has an epiphany of his own existence. The overall cashout was $331 million of which 121 in the USA and the remaining 209 in the rest of the world, also received an Oscar nomination for special effects. It seems that Disney is willing to make a sequel.
